If it is only silver compounds changed
by light and chemistry, then why delight
in pointing this or any photo out
and boasting that I took it when I ...well,
when I createde it?  The shed was there
already, as the tree and water were;
and I suspended no such cloud as that.
The sunset moon, three quarters full, which stood
above the line was surely not of me.
I aimed the lens, and set the shutter speed,
the focus and the F-stop, then depressed
the shutter button, nothing more.  And yet
my pride seduces me, lays claim to the
effects of light and silver chemestry.

Both you and I together saw above
the line the sunset moon three quarters full,
the cloud, the water and the tree, the shed
displaced, incongruous.  Both you and I
together felt the moment, and remarked
on it, the photograph it ought to be.
Still, of the two of us, I took the shot.
