Keep on writing, for
poetry changes the world,
and us, forever.
I write because I
cannot not write - images,
words pour through my veins .
Poetry is life
as life itself must also
be:  music - poetry

If you are asking, "What on God's green earth is a Mindworm anyway?" consider this: if you think you won't like the answer, maybe you shouldn't ask the question. Now, if you still want to know, just click on these links to explore and maybe learn more than you ever wanted to know. Just remember, you had to ask. Every age is witness to famine,  infectious disease, natural disaster, the savagery of man and nature - crime and war.  The only one of these we can't control directly is natural disaster.  But we are too busy fighting one another over issues of pride to feed the hungry, to fight internationally rampant diseases, robbing-raping-murdering each other and our children to end (or at least reduce) the carnage of our own by our own.

Every generation sends its sons and daughters to war somewhere around the world ...

Leaves Falling

Spring leaves falling
sadden me. Every
breath of wind
shakes green confetti
from the trees.
It doesn't seem
we'll lose the
trees - they sport
new foliage daily.
Still, it seems
unnatural they're falling
now, their soft
green faces glistening
with tears, eyes
young, afraid.  I
want to rake
them up, burn
them before they
are dry, gray
feathers scattered, forgotten.
