This poem was composed as part of a service project involving regional poets each writing a poem in response to a painting by one of a number of Suffolk artists for a Spring 2004 show billed as V2V - Visual to Voice. The show opened with an invitational reading of many of the poems by their authors; the show was featured at the Suffolk Museum for some three months. The poem appeared in The Poet's Domain vol Twenty-Two in 2005
